Sybarite Dreams
I fell in love with the word Sybarite, which I came across while reading a novel for book club. The definition of Sybarite describes a person who is self-indulgent in their fondness for sensuous luxury, someone who loves expensive things and is devoted to pleasure.
What does luxury mean to you?
My idea of luxury is Sybarite slightly redefined. I love beautiful clothing, food and surroundings, but for me, they don’t necessarily have to be expensive. I find luxury in simple pleasures like fresh picked flowers on my desk, indulging in a candlelit bath, and finding a good deal on a dress that looks like a million bucks, but doesn’t cost that much. I pride myself in being stylishly savvy within my budget. Luxury can be found in a well designed wardrobe where each piece makes you look and feel fabulous.
